It makes sense that RuneScape Dragonwilds would not normally have a pause function. The early access survivalbox can be played online, after all, and you should not have a pause function whereby Trab can just make everyone stop playing the game for a little bit while he stares at his fridge. But when you’re offline, you should be able to pause, and indeed the ability to pause is coming to the game very soon for offline play. Now you can run to the bathroom whenever you need to do so and the game pauses like you want it to!

That’s not all coming to the game in the near future, though. For example, there’s a day/night widget for players who are not able to check outside to see if the gigantic ball of incandescent gas the planet orbits (also known as the “sun”) is visible or not. There’s also a cape rack, both to show off the capes that you’ve earned and also because maybe people unclear on whether it’s day or night should not be trusted wearing capes normally.
