Star Trek Online’s current handlers at DECA have decided you need to buy some new ships and listen to some poetry. Wait.
“Today, Arc Games and DECA Games announced the release of a brand-new Starship Bundle for Star Trek Online, the long-running free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG,” DECA says. “Now available on PC and coming to console on August 27, the Timeless Legacy bundle features three ships, each with three skins from different eras of Star Trek: The Original Series (ToS), Classic Film (TMP), and the 25th Century (STO). For a limited time, PC Captains can get this great bundle 25% off, but this sale only lasts until July 28.”
The ships are the USS Okinawa, USS Proxima, Ranger Temporal Battle Cruiser, all with new variants. Notably, each of these is buyable individually, though if you buy the bundle, it comes with suit items, costumes, and a universal kit module too.

There’s a new trailer for the ships featuring – seriously – an “exclusive poem reading from Jason Charles Miller, the veteran composer and voice actor known and celebrated in the Star Trek Online universe” as the composer begin the game’s ” first original theme song, Steel and Flame, an epic Klingon anthem.”
Honestly, we’re just kidding. MMOs need more poems. This is kinda neat. And we’re just happy to see it’s not all just squirreled away into a gamblebox.
