Everyone likes being the one firing a minigun, but nobody likes being the one downrange of the gun. Age of Water understands this, but its latest update is actually going to have some impacts on how players feel about firing them, too. While the gun is still set up to fire its full 480 rounds without overheating, if you use structural modifications to increase the limit so that it’s pumping out even more bullets, it is going to start overheating now. That means that its stock performance remains stable, but trying to overclock it (so to speak) will run into some roadblocks.
The update also modifies hulls; Glare Rocket Boat and Torpedo Boat Midori are both more fragile now, while the Grasp Tugboat and ST Octa Seiner have both gotten an assortment of buffs to make them more viable on the open seas. Last but not least, pumps have gotten a bit less efficient and a bit more demanding of power once again. Check out the full patch notes for all of the fine details on the changes.
Readers will recall that Age of Water is a Gaijin-published survival MMO that kinda stealth-launched at the beginning of the year following three seasons in early access. It appears to be pretty Small in terms of playerbase, so it’s all the better that it’s still getting updates.
