Temtem Swarm relaunches its demo even as players won’t give up on maintenance-moded MMO Temtem

Curious to try out the multiplayer wave survival game Temtem Swarm but aren’t willing to pony up the dough for an early access product? Then you’re in luck because the free demo of the title has officially returned once again to grant players a little sampler of what they’re in for – perhaps in a bid to coax players away from developer Crema Games’ maintenance-moded, Kickstarted MMO, which still has almost as many players as Swarm itself.

Those who do peek into the demo will gain access to the Cipanku arena and the critters Platypet, Smazee and Oree, and those who own the game in full will even be matched up with demo players provided they’re doing the same map. Furthermore, those who purchase the game in full will see their demo progress carried over, so there’s some fairly plump bait sitting on this game’s fishing hook.

As for the most recent update, that’s mostly focused on neutral techniques, including the addition of four new such techniques and the proliferation of existing neutral techniques to every creature in the roster. On top of that, there are updates to what perks show up in a run, with an automatic bias towards seeing perks that synergize with what has been previously selected. Lastly of note are a series of updates intended to improve stability and fix save file corruption after experiencing a game crash, so whether you’re in the demo or the full early access game, things should be a bit better overall.
