Don’t panic because we’re about to cover another single-player title, but that’s because this one touches on the MMORPG genre both in style and mechanics, to say nothing of its name. This is Don’t Lose Aggro, a single-player action roguelike title where players take up the role of the tank for their group of fantasy heroes.

Developer Oren Koren bills Don’t Lose Aggro as a way to “experience the thrill of MMORPG tanking in this single-player roguelite that lets you perfect your tanking skills without guild drama or 4-hour raid nights.” Players can customize their tank character by spending skill points that follow a variety of different tank styles like Dodger, Blocker, Kiter, or Taunter, while gameplay involves selecting a party of companions and trying to keep them alive while exploring maps like lava worlds, sandy deserts, or the Fallen City.

The full game has no release date confirmed just yet, but it does have a free demo on Steam to try, which has so far received “positive” reviews by players on the platform. The demo offers several features including a dungeon crawl mode, a boss rush mode, and an assortment of companions to tank for.
