Since last month we’ve been keeping our eyes on yet another Kickstarter MMO project: Lionhearts, a strategy MMO set in a medieval world developed by indie studio Credenzio that first started life as a Roblox game. The studio opened its Kickstarter in the middle of June, touting its “anti-P2W” proclivities while also selling things like highly useful land ownership for five figures.

Evidently that wasn’t much of a red flag for some folks, as the game has now officially met its initial target of $100K. This not only meets the bare minimum ask but also opens up access to the Colosseum to those who pitched in $5 and up, which will let players duke it out in PvP with a wide assortment of weapons. Meanwhile, the studio is encouraging donations to keep rolling in to hit the $200K milestone, which will open up pre-alpha access to those who pledged $10 at minimum.

In other news, Credenzio has put out a shortened version of its original trailer and outlined its development progress so far on performance optimizations and an ensmallening of its playable demo. The studio is also calling attention to its “shadow-tasking” system that basically lets player characters complete tasks like gathering, crafting, or managing their fiefdom while logged out.
