Black Desert Console hypes the incoming arrival of the Deadeye class and Ulukita zone July 10

Soon, players of Black Desert Console will be able to do their own bit of rootin’, tootin’, and shootin’, when the Deadeye class makes her arrival to the MMORPG on Thursday, July 10th, with all of the firearms that one could possibly ask out of a Korean spin on an American Wild West trope character.

If you’re not familiar with how this class operated on PC, the Deadeye brings a whole bevy of mid-ranged weaponry to bear against the otherwise high-fantasy foes of the game, including a pair of revolvers, a powerful shotgun, and a rocket launcher. Our own Stream Team also found out that she can fling a bundle of dynamite at foes and shoot it to blow it up. Basically, subtlety is not this class’s strong suit, as the combat video below demonstrates.

Another major part of this July 10th patch is the new-to-console region of Ulukita, where new monster zones like the City of the Dead and Tungrad Ruins await for players to grind up. The PC patch that added the zone also brought a new storyline and new items to discover, which are certainly going to be part of the area’s arrival for BDO Console fans.

In other BDO news, the mobile version of the MMORPG is getting a patch tomorrow that will introduce improvements for the Hidden Outer Castle, some new weekly tasks, and updates for Chaos Rift instances. Patch notes offering details about what’s changing will land when the update goes live.
