Once Human is continuing its big summer rollout: During its showcase stream last week just ahead of the holiday, NetEase’s Starry Studio unveiled the entirety of its annual version update and its PvP sidepiece.
First, the 2.0 Dreamveil update, aka the annual update, is now live, with the “Endless Dream PvE scenario, the public test for the class system, the new Dreamland Fantasia event, Carnival Subsidy, Lightforge Loot Crate: Abyssal Finale, the Reward Covenant gift pack, and various optimizations and bug fixes.” Endless Dream is PvE content with the full Nalcott map and the encroaching dream zones that are maybe more like, y’know, nightmares, in which you use building mechanics to win. The new classes – Beastmaster, Chef, and Gardener are also live. Don’t get those mixed up.
Second, if you thought Once Human was missing some PvP, then you can point your eyeballs at Once Human: RaidZone, and if that doesn’t make those eyeballs twitchy, then know you can test that PvP version now or wait for the July 30th launch.
Finally, NetEase reiterated that it’s still planning to bring Once Human to console with cross-play, though we don’t have a formal launch date yet.
