Palia’s Solstice Bloom arrived last night, bringing to the Daybreak-owned beta mini-MMO cozy sandbox some much-needed quality-of-life perks – and some content too.
In its roadmap last month, dev studio Singularity 6 told players it would be prioritizing new content in every patch, and that’s exactly what’s arrived in the form of new “discovery” quests. There’s one for Hodari’s sister’s wedding, Zeki’s criming empire, Kenyatta’s boy band crush, and so forth – just note that some of these are midgamer-oriented and require some solid skill ranks.
Plushie fans will also be happy with the new options (all acquired in-game, mind you), and we’re getting new Umbraan furnishings (again, also acquired and crafted in-game), a new name change option (I checked – it’s free), decor stacking to 30+, uses for mushroom leather, flower growing UI, and improvements to honey lures. There’s a nice long list of bug fixes and cash-shop additions as well.
Finally, S6 announced preorders for the OG soundtrack for the game on vinyl.
