It’s time to consider ship comfiness, look forward to more stable and polished gameplay, and finally understand where the hell you are in Lost Skies. That’s all thanks to the survivalbox’s latest patch, which adds these things and a few more other additions besides.
The primary focus for this patch is continuing to improve and polish the game, with several bug fixes including one that will potentially end disappearing ships, improvements to overall stability, and a combat balance pass. Developer Bossa Studios further promises that this will be a continual focus for additional updates.
Of course there are other major additions too, such as the first version of a map table to help players navigate the world, more player-made islands along the Outskirts area, and the comfort system that takes into account ship layout, item placement, and decor in order to earn a powerful “rested” bonus. That’s where the whole “comfort system” comes in.
“NEW Comfort System: Ship layout now matters! Place furniture and decor to increase your crew’s comfort, but keep them clear of discomfort sources like engines and other machinery. A happy crew will earn a powerful ‘rested’ bonus for their travels.”
There’s also some quality-of-life features like full keybinding and the ability to name storage chests. The patch notes provide all of the details.
