PvP is having a bit of a moment in the Elder Scrolls Online, thanks to the Cyrodiil Champions tests that ZeniMax Online Studios has been running intermittently all year. And as we wait for the takeaway from the Vengeance event run earlier this month, PvP players can look forward to the return of Whitestrake’s Mayhem.

“The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event returns this Thursday, July 24 at 10AM EDT, and will run until August 6 at 10AM EDT,” the studio says. “Throughout the event, you can enjoy a massive 100% increase to Alliance Points, XP from PvP zones, and Tel Var Stone gains as well as special rewards when competing in ESO’s Alliance War, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City PvP modes.”

Starting Thursday, players can pick up the quest from the cash shop to partake. While most of the rewards seem to be returning from previous events, ZOS is touting a new Truth in Wisdom outfit style from Pelinal Boon boxes. Notable, these aren’t paid lockboxes; they’re rewards from battleground quests, PvP missions, cap/recap quests, PvP town quests, and Imperial City dailies.

And if you’re feeling really gutsy, note that harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil are giving extra resources.
