Hey would you look at that: Albion Online just carved another notch on the wall to commemorate the crowdfunded MMO’s eighth year of live service. The team took a well-deserved victory lap with an article that highlighted the major developments for the PvP MMORPG in the past year.
In short, it’s been quite busy. Albion Online unloaded four major content patches (Paths to Glory, Horizons, Rogue Frontier, and Abyssal Depths), launched on the Epic Games Store, and changed creative directors. Features such as the Albion Journal, dynamic encampments, the SAFE portal, HUD editor, Smuggler’s Dens (and networks), kill trophies, a bank overview, and the new Depths collapsing dungeons helped to flesh out this title’s offerings.
“Eight years in, Albion is bigger, bolder, and more alive than ever – and we couldn’t have done it without you,” the devs told the community. “From the veterans who’ve seen it all to the new players just beginning their journeys, your passion continues to shape the world.”
