Did you know that there was a piece of content added to Corepunk known as Prison Island? It’s true! The PvP and PvE extraction dungeon landed this past April. And developer Artificial Core highlighted it with a promotional video in May. And now it’s doing it again this month with yet another new promo video. Just in case people forgot Prison Island is a thing.

Overall the tone of this trailer is a lot less dramatic than the prior video, framed as a breaking news bulletin and with a far more tongue-in-cheek humorous vibe. It’s obviously not going to showcase anything new, but it’s another attempt to draw attention to the now established piece of content.

Of course, going to Prison Island because a video told you to isn’t the only motivator: There’s now a new event underway known as the Butcher’s Trophies: Prison Island Challenge that awards several unique mounts that can drop from clearing quests that change every week, completing longer quests available for the event’s duration, or as random drops from PvP kills, chests, or a boss. The event will run from now until September 25th, so be sure to check the link above for dates and details.
