It’s summertime, and that means events! Well, it’s summertime in PlanetSide 2 as of this week, while a new event in DC Universe Online is less about the season but is available during part of summer, so it’s summertime-adjacent? Eh, whatever, events!

First off, the Summer Directive event is back again for PS2 players between now and August 5th known as Operation: Helios. This event offers up certs, banners, decals, and other cosmetics for those who complete directive tasks, while the cash shop has new and returning thematic items up for purchase. The patch that released the event has also brought aerial anomalies across the game map and added the Bull Market implant.

Meanwhile in DCUO, it’s time for the Legendary Heroes special event, which opens up rotating daily and weekly missions that unlock a new feat, a couple of new cosmetics, a 20 pack of mogo berries, and 100 stabilizer fragments. Access to some of the daily missions does require players to have completed a couple of specific episode missions, so bear that in mind while you check the calendar of challenge events in the link above. Missions run from now until July 22nd.
